A delegation from the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Basrah, visited the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Duhok, under the direct guidance of the University President, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi.
The visit came to open prospects for joint cooperation in the scientific field, field work and research cooperation.
During the visit, the scientific and laboratory specializations available in both universities were introduced, and the head of the delegation, Dr. Ali Khaled Abbas, agreed on the mechanism of future and organizational work for field work.
Dr. Saad Shaheen, present an invitation to the University of Duhok to visit Basra and the colleges of the university.
This came after the completion of the field work project for (67) students from the Department of Geology in Dohuk Governorate, under the supervision of the presidency and professors of the department in the College of Science.
