The Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Hussein Reshak, met with the directors of scientific departments and research centers at the university.
During the meeting, the achievements made by the officials of the centers were presented, according to the tasks assigned to them, and the obstacles they faced were mentioned.
Dr. Ali Hussein Reshak pledged to visit the research centers and overcome all the difficulties in front of them and solve the accumulated problems they suffer from, and stressed the need to conduct courses for the new recruits on teaching methods and educational and psychological counseling.
Reshak added that the research centers will have their own courses, and he will give lectures in them in addition to the capacity development courses.
He concluded by referring to the number of published research, which reached 189 until the beginning of July.
