The researcher (Hanan Karim Hanoon) said that this study talks about the general conditions of the city of Al-Zubayr from the First World War until the end of the monarchy 1914-1958 and its importance comes as it sheds light on an important part of the history of Basra Governorate that had an effective role and a historical extension, as it is concerned with social aspects The economic and political as well as education, health, religious and cultural aspects.
This topic is considered one of the topics for which there is no academic study during this period.
The researcher divided the study into an introduction and conclusion and three chapters dealing with the first chapter: the social, religious and economic aspects
