The lecture aimed to choose the appropriate teaching method for each type of thinking style, in light of the developmental course for faculty members organized by the Development and Continuing Education Center. The goal of the lecture, which is part of the teaching methods course, is to train trainees on understanding their personality type and its differences according to their thinking style, in order to apply that in dealing with their students, depending on individual differences between them. The lecture, presented by Dr. Nidaa Mohammed Alyasiri, Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, included an explanation of how the brain works based on the latest scientific research, and the launching of the Hermann scale for participants to identify the dominant parts of their thinking. The workshop discussed how to prepare lessons for each dominant style of student thinking, according to the theory that classifies dominant styles into objective, executive, creative, and emotional. Finally, the recommendation was made for every teacher to know their own thinking style in order to understand their students' thinking style and thus the reasons for their behavior.
