The Crisis Cell at University of Basrah delivered 100 VTMs produced in in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy, 100 medical swabs to Al-Faw Hospital in Basrah, 500 Virus transporting mediums (VTMs)and 500 medical swabs to the Samawah Health Directorate , as part of the university’s contribution to solving the problem of unavailability of the carrier responsible for detecting cases of infection Coronavirus. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Sherri, stated that this work is voluntary to contribute to solving the crisis of the outbreak of the epidemic and for the sake of initial prevention measures that reveal infected cases to provide ways to treat them early, and Sheri continued: We are continuing to produce the transport medium and provide health directorates throughout Iraq and even eliminate the epidemic with permission.
