A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra discussed Suprematism and its reflection in contemporary world ceramics.
The thesis presented by the researcher Sawsan Mohammed Hamza Ahmed included the topic of the movement of Suprematism or Suprematism, one of those most rebellious trends in the avant-garde arts, which was founded by the Russian artist Malevich and had important achievements in the world of composition.
The message aims to show the role of the supermatism movement, which gave plastic art its own identity to distinguish it from other artistic activities, moving away from objectivity and simulating realism, symbols and connotations towards everything that is just embodied in geometric shape and pure form.
The message concluded the vision of Suprematism and its reflection on geometric shapes that gave them a high aesthetic value, including the desire for self-realization through uniqueness in pure abstract formal innovation.
