The College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah organized a seminar on preparing, diagnosing and testing the bioactivity of oxoazetidine benzene sulfone amide hybrid antibiotic. The seminar included a lecture given by the researcher Ahmed Talal Ali, a definition of antibiotic in general. It is an active compound against bacteria and is the most important form of antibacterial agent to control bacterial infection in the treatment and prevention of such diseases. Antibiotics are commonly used as antibiotics can kill. Or inhibit bacterial production. The episode also added a detailed explanation about the target compound to be synthesized, which is a hybrid molecule of sulfonamide structure and a heterogeneous beta-lactam ring, both of which are known for their antibacterial activity.
