Within the 2023 University Games Championship currently being held in Russia, the University of Basrah team, which represents Iraq, achieved its second victory in the futsal pentathlon over the Petersburg University team (Russia), amid the brilliance of the University of Basrah team players who gave a distinguished performance throughout the two halves of the match, and joy spread among the Iraqi delegation after this.
