A teacher at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Dr. Amal Abdul-Razzaq Naim Al-Mansoori, participated in a lecture on the theory of multiple intelligences and emerging modern teaching strategies organized by the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra
The objective of the lecture, which is part of the faculty development course in teaching methods, is to enlighten the trainees with the theory of multiple intelligences, distinguish the types of intelligence and their various activities, and introduce them to the most important strategies that emerged from each type of intelligence.
The lecture presented by Dr. Amal Abdel-Razzaq Naeem Al-Mansoori included defining the theory of multiple intelligences, its origins and founder, and explaining the types of multiple intelligences, including: linguistic (verbal) intelligence: strategies and activities and logical (mathematical) intelligence.
The lecture recommended the need to use these strategies in classroom teaching in the future because of their importance in developing the teaching process
