The Supervising Committee of Journals at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Education for Pure Sciences, organized a special course for managing websites that publish scientific journals affiliated with the university, in the conference hall of the Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center building.
The course aimed at developing the technical skills of university cadres specialized in managing journal publishing websites, which enhances scientific sobriety.
The course dealt with topics of site management and how to raise research and scientific journals with a high impact factor.
The Vice President of the University and his Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Hussein Reshak, stated that the purpose of this course is to introduce the University of Basrah journals to international containers such as Scopus and Clarivate.
