Under the direct supervision of the Deanship, the Maintenance Unit at the College of Pharmacy has finalized a strategic cooling enhancement plan to ensure an optimal environment for staff and students.

The Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Daoud Jalloub Hillel, stated that due to Basrah's challenging high-temperature climate, the college has performed comprehensive maintenance on (75) split units across various offices and lecture halls. This included refrigerant gas checks and the installation of (10) additional new units in critical areas.

Prof. Dr. Hillel emphasized that this initiative creates a comfortable learning and working atmosphere, stressing that the maintenance unit continues its dedicated support to safeguard the sustainability and efficiency of institutional facilities.
