The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a discussion panel entitled (Oxidative Stress and its Impact on Human Diseases) with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The seminar included a lecture delivered by master’s graduate student Ali Abdul Hussein Khalifa, in which he explained that oxidative stress is a crucial factor in the development of various diseases, and that understanding its impact on our bodies allows us to adopt strategies to reduce its effects by incorporating a healthy lifestyle, consuming foods rich in antioxidants, and managing Stress, where we can support the body's defense mechanisms and reduce the risk of disease.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness of the necessity of making conscious choices to enhance general well-being and combat oxidative stress in daily life.
