The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, represented by faculty members from the Department of Internal and Preventive Medicine, along with postgraduate students in the same department, collaborated with the Veterinary Clinic in Al-Zubair to conduct a field exercise in the district.
The objectives of the exercise were to monitor and examine animals to detect diseases prevalent in Basra Governorate.
The exercise included performing several tests to confirm the presence of hemorrhagic fever in animals. Samples were collected from the animals, and preventive guidance was provided to the livestock breeders.
