Iraqi universities have signed memoranda of understanding with their Iranian counterparts as part of the Science Week between Iraq and the Islamic Republic. These memoranda of understanding encompass various areas of cooperation, including research opportunities for postgraduate students, joint supervision, the development of post-doctoral programs, student exchanges between universities, mutual scholarships in different specialities, cultural, artistic, and sports programs, joint research projects, and utilization of laboratory services and logistical facilities at the universities of both countries. The memoranda also includes scientific cooperation in the field of training and the exchange of scientific consultations related to curricula and courses. It was agreed to establish a committee from both sides to coordinate and monitor the implementation procedures.
