The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a Ph.D. thesis titled On Modular spin characters of symmetric groups for Postgraduate student Ahmed Hussain. the thesis aims to determine the decomposition matrices of the spin character of the symmetric group S. where n = 24,25 for p= 7,n = 28, 29 for p = 11, and n = 27,28 for p = 13, which gives the relationships between the irreducible spin characters and irreducible modular spin characters or principal indecomposable spin characters
