The University of Basrah basketball team achieved a well-deserved
victory against the University of Cameroon in the International University Championship group stage held in Moscow, Russia, with broad participation from various teams. Our team secured the win with a score of 21 points to 17 for the Cameroonian team. It's worth noting that the University of Basrah basketball team is participating for the second consecutive time in the tournament organized by the Russian Student Organization in Moscow, led by Coach Dr Ali Mohammed Hadi and players Hussein Adel, Naji Abdul Razzaq, Fadel Ibrahim, and Ali Mohammed Jaber.
