The College of Management and Economics at the University of Basrah hosted a meeting of the Deans of Colleges of Management and Economics in Iraq. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Deans Committee and the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Abdul Hussain Tawfiq Shubli, in the presence of the Deans of the Colleges of Management and Economics in Iraq.
The meeting discussed requests submitted by some private colleges regarding the opening of departments in Accounting and Oil and Gas Economics in the Colleges of Economic Sciences and Law. Appropriate decisions were made regarding these requests. The meeting also discussed a letter from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stipulates adding a subject called "Crimes of the Ousted Baath" to the Bachelor's curriculum. Furthermore, the meeting addressed a proposal from the University of Al Ain to add an Artificial Intelligence subject to the curriculum of one of the academic subjects, among other topics.
