The Citizen Affairs Department at the University of Basrah addressed the concerns of several visitors on their designated weekly day. Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi, the university's president, personally listened to them and directly dealt with their requests by being present in the department and staying in close contact with the citizens.
The issues and requests of the visitors covered various topics, and they were directed toward solutions according to their relevance, whether they were related to faculties and university departments or required further correspondence. Some cases were resolved immediately.
