The University of Basrah Achieves the first position in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research assessments for student activities for the academic year 2022-2023.
Regarding this accomplishment, Dr. Riad Al-Sa'eed, the Director of the Student Activities Department, stated, 'The ministerial evaluation included the participation and competition of approximately 36 private and government universities. We achieved first place after successfully conducting all the specified sports and artistic activities within the annual program. Our excellence privilege was evident in organizing tournaments and competitions for various sports and artistic activities, including hosting various exhibitions. Furthermore, our success extended to organizing scouting camps, in which a large number of students from various scientific and humanitarian disciplines at the university participated.
