Our college organized a workshop on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. In cooperation with the college’s Continuing Education Unit, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Salman, Assistant Lecturer Maher Abdul Amir, researcher Haider, and Dahi, members of the college’s teaching staff, lectured.
The target group was second stage students. Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Salman touched on pulmonary resuscitation, who should do it and when, and whether it is limited to nurses or to community members. It was also touched upon that cardiopulmonary resuscitation is useful for those suffering from heart and respiratory attacks to preserve brain cells from dying because they are cells that die if they do not. Oxygen reaches it within a period of 5-7 minutes, and the assistant teacher, Maher Abdel Amir, completed the steps for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to perform each step in the correct way. The researcher, Haider, discussed how to carry out the practical application on the doll, how to begin the detailed steps, and teach the students how to apply them to the simulated dolls.
