The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a seminar entitled (Influence of Correlated Random Errors on Type I and II Error Rates in the One-way Random Effect Model) for postgraduate student Ahmed Majed. The seminar aims to determine the relationship between existent correlations between random errors within and across groups for the one-way random effect model and the type I and II error rates and their impact on statistical decisions.
