In the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, a master thesis entitled (revelation significance in the Noble Quran - the speech of the prophets with their people and their families as a Model) was discussed.
The thesis presented by student Jassim Nasser Kati included three chapters (Quranic revelation at the syntactic level, Quranic revelation at the semantic level, and Quranic revelation at the morphological phonetic level).
The thesis aims to identify the suggestions contained in the language of the Holy Qur’an at its various levels, due to its presence and influence on the general system of meaning.
The thesis concluded that the Holy Qur’an did not present the speeches of the prophets to their people in general terms or summarize the contents, but rather left us room to delve into them by opening the gates of suggestion used by the discerning person. It revealed the psychological complexes and social customs that dominate the behavior of individuals and groups in ancient times and which relate to our present time. It gave more mature semantic results than direct semantics, as it considers what is not apparent from what is intended in the speech.
