A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed the aesthetics of fashion in contemporary Arab sculpture.
The message presented by the researcher Ala Issa Karim included the subject of sculpture and the works provided by the sculptors, through which they contributed to the reflection of the cultural heritage, as their works included shapes, symbols, images and their external formal inspirations, which reflected the beauty of fashion.
The thesis aims to identify the aesthetics of fashion in contemporary Arab sculpture, through which it is possible to differentiate between one country and another in terms of culture and traditions.
The letter concluded that Arab sculptors adopted symmetry, symmetry and unity in sculptural works, and the abstract style was used in the execution of sculptural work using traditional costume.
