The educational clinics at the College of Dentistry, University of Basra, provided therapeutic and preventive services to the children of the Al-Muhammadawi Charitable Foundation as part of the community services provided by the University of Basra to the community.
Dr. Sarah Wadih and Dr. Nadia Azzam said that sixteen cases were diagnosed and treated with various treatments, including permanent fillings, cleaning and extraction, and guidance services were provided to teach children the correct ways to care for teeth to ensure their permanence and protect them from loss.
Specialist doctor Ahmed Hani, head of the clinics, pointed out that the College of Dentistry has become accustomed to providing therapeutic and preventive services to school students, orphanages and the general public during the past academic years, and is still continuing to provide its therapeutic services during the current academic year. It welcomes all visitors to receive medical and preventive treatment and advice.
