Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi, the President of the University of Basrah, conducted an inspection visit to the College of Engineering. During the visit, he met with Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, the College of Engineering Dean, and Dr. Sarmad Abdullah, the Dean's Assistant for Administrative Affairs. He also supervised the installation and operation of a modern 4x3-meter screen that keeps up with the latest technological advancements, pursuing to achieve the highest academic and practical benefits in Dr. Asad Salim Hall.
Furthermore, Dr. Hamadi inspected the solar energy system at the Electrical Engineering Department, examining its components and operation. He inaugurated a 7,000-square-meter park in the Department of Architectural Engineering, which was landscaped with grass, trees, and a modern irrigation system.
