The educational clinics at the College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah offered medical and preventive services to the children of the Al-Mohammadi Charity Institution as part of the community services provided by the University. Dr Sara Wadi and Dr Nadia Azam diagnosed and treated sixteen cases with various treatments, including permanent fillings, cleaning, and extractions, also they serve as guides to educate children on proper dental care to ensure their long-term oral health and prevent tooth loss.
Dr Ahmed Hani, the specialist doctor responsible for the clinics, noted that the College of Dentistry has a tradition of providing medical and preventive services to school students, orphans, and the general public during previous academic years. The college continues to offer its medical services during the current academic year and welcomes all visitors to receive treatment, medical consultations, and preventive care.
