The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah hosted the personal exhibition of the artist Sabri Al-Maliki, titled "Me and Ishtar," in the main exhibition hall at the college.
The exhibition aims to highlight the value of expressive abstract art, which is considered one of the unique forms of art practised by this artist, establishing a serious foundation for his artistic experiment in his paintings.
The exhibition included over 50 artistic works, all executed in oil colours, drawing inspiration from the struggles and tragedies of Iraqi women as they face profound and continuous hardships that have touched every Iraqi household.
