The scientific departments at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra held their periodic meetings to discuss topics on their agenda.
During the meetings, a number of matters of interest to the educational process and the teaching process were discussed, as well as determining the rates of completion of academic subjects for graduate and preliminary studies, diagnosing obstacles and proposing ways to solve them, as well as emphasizing the follow-up of student absences, graduation research, and observation lessons.
The attendees discussed the updated university calendar for the academic year 2023-2024 for all levels of study, the timings of final exams and the first and second cycles, and everything related to the calendar for this year.
The meetings included holding discussion sessions for one of the department’s professors, discussing the titles of theses and dissertations, and expressing observations and opinions about them
