The University of Basra organizes a panel discussion on education in Iraq between reality and ambition
The Department of Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a panel discussion entitled “Education in Iraq, Reality and Aspiration.”
The seminar, which was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Maysaa Abdel Hamza, aimed to explain the importance of education as the main driver in the development of any nation, and education is one of the important indicators of the progress and development of societies and the advancement of their culture to the highest level.
The panel discussion included the reality of the educational system in Iraq and an explanation of the reasons that stand in the way of its development, and the problems it faces.
The panel discussion came up with a number of proposals and actions that must be taken in order to advance the educational aspect in Iraq.
