A master’s thesis by student Hanadi Farouk Farhan was discussed at the University of Basra, College of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, entitled Structural Behavior of Concrete Fibers with High Infiltrating Strength.
This study focuses on studying eaves built using SIFCON infiltrated fibrous concrete. 12 eaves were worked on. These standards are the volume fraction of steel fibers and were set to three different percentages: 5%, 6%, and 7%.
The study included the effect of the shear range on the effective depth ratio, taking the values 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 into account. In addition, the effect of a mixture of fine fibers and hook fibers, as well as the effect of reinforcing steel bars, was also studied.
The results showed that the effect on the ultimate load and energy absorption on the crack load, which shows their effect on the other hand, and the effect of the shear ratio on the models was negative.
