A volunteer team consisting of students and teachers from the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the university, sponsored the restoration and rehabilitation of the computer room in the National Orphans Foundation in Basra Governorate.
Dr. Hoda Jassim, one of the team members, explained that the team organized a field visit to the institution during which it supervised the restoration work of the computer room, repainting it, and replacing the old tiles, curtains and lighting.
The visiting team shared the children’s joy by drawing on their faces and distributing gifts to them. The team also examined the mouth and teeth of all the institution’s children and its employees, diagnosed cases that required treatment, and summoned them to the college’s educational clinics to provide appropriate treatment.
