The College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in the Holy Quran recitation competition, which was hosted by the Presidency of the University of Basra and in the hall of the College of Arts
It is worth noting that the College of Nursing had the largest role and most contribution to this blessed competition, as the male and female winners were honored in the competition that was held under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi. The student Hassan Muhammad Dhiyab, who won third place among the colleges in the competition, won memorization and recitation. The Holy Qur’an, with the participation of the student Ibrahim Muhammad Younis and the student Baqir Ahmed Hamid
They received a certificate of appreciation from the organizing committee of the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by a number of teaching staff, employees, and a large group of college students, as well as professors of Qur’anic recitations.
The Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, congratulated the College of Nursing team for its victory in the annual tournament organized by the University Presidency, and praised the role of the Student Activities Division and the members of the training staff in preparing and grooming the team members.
