The University of Basrah terminated the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which took place in several colleges with the attendance of academic and official figures. Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi, the president of the University of Basrah, mentioned, "We closely monitored the initiatives of entrepreneurship and their stages of completion, and today we have completed activities related to how to pave the way to crystallise these projects and turn them into successful businesses. We will submit recommendations to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in this regard."
Dr. Enas Abdul Aziz Al-Naser, the director of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Center, highlighted the presence of creative and productive young minds in entrepreneurship. She emphasized their relentless efforts to guide each participant to become a successful entrepreneur.
The sponsoring and supporting entities awarded shields and certificates of appreciation to the 100 participants, trainers, and organizing committee for their dedicated efforts in completing this project.'
It is worth noting that the entrepreneurship initiative, launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani to support youth, students, and graduates, aims to stimulate their interaction with the changes in the job market and technological advancements. It encourages them to invest in their skills, talents, and innovation capabilities to secure decent opportunities in the job market and create an effective economic movement.
