The workshop included a lecture given by Prof. Dr. Kazem Abdel Wahab Hassan, during which he dealt with climate change and its impact on the amounts of rain and the resulting deterioration of agricultural and industrial production and human health
The workshop discussed ... (The size of the climate change problem and the international political conflict of the problem and the solutions put to it that did not mitigate its negative effects and its reflection on the climate change of Iraq, as temperatures rose, which caused a change in the quality of the systems that cause rain precipitation, and thus reflected on the quality of clouds and their height and what they cause from the forms of precipitation. Al-Matari thus decreased its quantities)
The workshop indicated ,, (that there is a significant decrease in the amount of rain falling, and this is the reason for a decrease in the amount of surface and ground water, and the deterioration of its quality, and thus the progression of salt waves towards the Shatt al-Arab)
