The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra held a cultural and religious symposium on the role of the media in the heart of intellectual balance. Its lectures were delivered by Sheikh Al-Jalil Ibrahim Al-Khafaji, in the presence of Dr. Ali Taha Yassin, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and an elite group of students and employees of the college.
Sheikh Al-Khafaji touched on the role of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) in performing important tasks and roles in Karbala and her role in giving great moral impetus to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in managing the Battle of Al-Taf, inciting public opinion in Kufa, addressing the people of the Levant, and exposing the status of the Umayyad media despite Her influence on society at that time and her famous saying (I saw nothing but beauty), which reflects the doctrine and faith of Mrs. Zeinab and the self-annihilation of God Almighty.
The symposium aims to create a Zainabi spirit among university students and to imitate it and its religious and literary culture that speaks in the name of truth and absolute belief in destiny and the greatness of the Creator.
The symposium included asking various religious questions, which were answered by Sheikh Al-Khafaji, which enriched those present with valuable religious information.
