University of Basrah. Discussed a doctoral thesis, titled "The Key to Al-Furqan in Explaining Quranic Pauses and Notatio" A Study and Verification by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Qari ibn Sheikh Shams al-Din al-Kadhimi" was presented by Ali Abdulwahid Aziz Al-Husseini.
The thesis focused on verifying the content of the book by assigning verse numbers to the designated pause locations as determined by the author. It also included citing the hadiths mentioned in the text along with the translation of the notable figures mentioned in the manuscript.
The study concluded that the science of verification holds significant importance, evident in its contribution to reviving the heritage of our scholars and their scientific efforts.
The thesis recommended establishing a centre for the revival of Arab heritage, led by specialized professors and advocated for the issuance of a Quranic manuscript that aligns with the punctuation marks as mentioned by scholars of pauses.
