Professor Dr. Haider Lazem Aziz, a lecturer in the History Department, chaired the panel discussion held by the History Department/College of Arts/University of Basrah for the academic year 2023-2024, corresponding to 11/21/2023, in the History Department hall, by the PhD student, Mahmoud Habib Salem, about his thesis entitled (US-Chinese relations (1981-1988)) as well as PhD student (Hassan Khassaf Odeh) on his thesis entitled (The Parthian Royal Court 248 BC - 224 BC) in which he reviewed the titles and contents of the chapters of their research projects and presented a summary of them, after which they were discussed by the department professors who attended the panel discussion and presented them with many ideas and opinions with the aim of enhancing and supplementing their messages and their approach to research.
