The College of Dentistry at Basra University organized a field visit to Al-Orouba Primary School in Basra Governorate.
The visiting team, consisting of a number of supervising specialist doctors and a group of students, announced the examination of the mouth and teeth of the school students, the diagnosis of cases that require treatment, and the transfer of them to the educational clinics in the college.
The medical team brought gifts to the students to encourage them to take care of their oral and dental hygiene and teach them the correct way to use the brush for cleaning.
The visits organized by the College of Dentistry in cooperation with the Student Activities Department to schools, kindergartens, and civil institutions in the governorate aim to spread health awareness among people about oral and dental care.
