The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra announced the completion of work on issuing the electronic university ID for students and began distributing it to the students.
Dr. Raed Taha Yassin, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, said that the electronic university card that the student carries is used as an electronic payment card for financial and banking transactions, a university ID, and an access card from the electronic portal that was recently installed at the entrances to the colleges of the University of Basra.
It is noteworthy that Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of the University of Basra, contracted with the Arab Electronic Payment Company to activate the electronic payment system for financial and banking transactions for university members, APS, and adopt it in financial transactions instead of cash transactions.
