A PhD thesis at the College of Fine Arts at Basra University discussed the feminist theatrical discourse and male hegemony in the contemporary Arab theater text. The thesis submitted by researcher Fawzia Mahoud included four chapters. The first chapter came the methodological framework .. It also included the importance of research, while the aim was reflected in how to convince the recipient of the existence of a feminist achievement that has a distinctive appearance on the artistic and literary arena. As for the second chapter, it contains the theoretical framework and previous studies, and it has been divided into three sections .. The first topic is the feminist discourse in the face of societal power .. The second topic is Arab feminist performance and its textual achievements .. As for the third topic, the cognitive presence of feminist discourse in the Arab theatrical text. The researcher devoted the third chapter to the research procedures, which included her preparation of the research community, which included choosing five samples for her analysis. The fourth chapter contains the results and conclusions, and they are delusional in the woman’s text. The writers have shown that they do not seek to leave the man absent because she does not appear in isolation from the man. The thesis recommended that the Arab playwright seeks to condense and shorten the characters to the fewest possible numbers to focus on the relationship between men and women.
