The Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized a seminar on (Application of the Government Financial Information Management System in Supporting Financial Control in Non-Profit Units), in which lecturer Jumana Handal and Marwa Nabil lectured.
The study session aimed to determine the importance of applying the GMFIS system to financial performance and financial control in non-profit Iraqi government units.
The seminar discussed the possibility of applying the GFMIS system in non-profit government units in Iraq by understanding the importance of applying and obstacles to this system and its impact on financial control in government units.
