College of Pharmacy Launches Awareness Campaign to Combat Violence Against Women Under the Slogan "Orange the World"

Lecturer (Najla Al-Saffar), Head of the Women's Empowerment Unit, stated that this initiative, launched under the title "Together we color the world orange," aims to empower women and girls within the campus to be a strong voice rejecting injustice and violence in all its forms and manifestations. She emphasized the fundamental role of women as a pivotal component in civilizational and social construction, necessitating full awareness of their rights and human dignity.

The campaign activities included the distribution of symbolic orange ribbons to female faculty, staff, and students, alongside motivational quotes and guidance highlighting women's prestigious status in society. The campaign concluded by affirming the unit's commitment to enabling female cadres to reach the highest levels of strength and achievement on all scientific and professional levels, reflecting the academic and social responsibility of the university.
