The University of Basra held a workshop entitled Drafting Official Correspondence, Administrative Orders, and the Life Cycle of Incoming and Outgoing Mail at the Iranian International Center for Education and Studies, which is the second complementary workshop to the previous workshop.
The second workshop, which delivered lectures, included Mr. Najm Abdel-Wadood Nimah, Director of the Studies and Planning Division and the official in charge of the website unit at the College of Dentistry, and was attended by Dr. Maitham Muhammad Saadoun, Director of the Iranian International Center for Education and Studies, and a number of administrative employees working in the Central Library, discussing the first topic, how to draft official correspondence. And administrative orders, and identifying the most important points that make communications weak and incomprehensible, and making communications and administrative orders clear and achieving the goal of their formulation.
The lecturer stated that the second axis dealt with the life cycle of incoming and outgoing mail separately, the most important stations at which books can stop, and how to avoid losing them.
The workshop aims to develop the skills of workers in middle and lower administrations to increase their administrative capabilities in writing correspondence and administrative orders in wording that is free of errors, narrative narration, and ambiguity.
