Basrah University opens scientific laboratories
The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basrah opened laboratories with several modern and advanced equipment by the representative of the Basrah Oil Company, Professor Asaad Abboud Issa, Director of the West Qurna 1 Field Operating Authority, the Dean of the College, Dr. Adnan Sultan Abdel Nabi, and the Head of the Life Sciences Department, Dr. Adnan Badr Ghaleb.
Dr. Adnan Sultan Abdul Nabi stated that this laboratory contains several advanced devices that can be used in various fields of science to develop scientific research and assist graduate students in their research.
The laboratory has been equipped with specialized, high-quality equipment, and these devices are available to all graduate students at the University of Basrah and researchers and academics throughout Iraq in order to support scientific research.
These laboratories were equipped with direct support from the Basrah Oil Company as part of the social benefits initiative allocated to the city district by the West Qurna 1 field, ExxonMobil and Basra Oil Company, and the mayor of the city district to provide financial support to equip these laboratories in order to support the scientific process and provide the appropriate environment for scientific research.
