The Iraqi Society for Surgical Oncology, in cooperation with the Hospital for Digestive and Liver Diseases and Surgery, the Basra Health Department, the Iraqi Doctors Syndicate - Basra Branch, the Basra College of Medicine, and the Al-Zahra College of Medicine, held a scientific symposium entitled ((The Real Challenges of Benign and Malignant Pancreatic Diseases)), and sponsored by AstraZeneca, during which he attended.
