The Paediatrics department at the college of Medicine, the University of Basrah, under the auspices of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shahinen Hammadi, and the Dean of the college of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Masafer, in cooperation with the Basrah Health directorate , Department of Public Health, and within the activities of continuous Medical Education for the Paediatric department , held a scientific workshop at the nutritional rehabilitation hall at Basra Educational Hospital for the period from 12-14/2023 entitled Treatment of severe malnutrition under the age of five, where the lecturers presented the modern treatment curriculum of the World Health Organisation and dealt with the common problems among children affected by malnutrition under the age of five to support their health and proper development.
