Basrah University holds a workshop entitled MEDICINE IS FUN
The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a workshop entitled MEDICINE IS FUN, in cooperation with the Iraqi Association of Medical Students in Basrah, and presented by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, a number of students.
The workshop included several topics, the most important of which was an explanation of the college system in terms of the curriculum, system, distribution, and cumulative GPA by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Khattar Musa.
The topic of accreditation and the college’s activity regarding it, as well as the advice of top students and their experiences, in addition to an explanation of the Iraqi Medical Students Association (IFMSA) and the committee in charge of medical education. The topic of the role of student activities and their positive impact on students was also explained to Assistant Professor Dr. Jalal Abdel Zahra and Professor Dr. Qusay Muhammad Hussein Al-Sitt.
