Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs meets with the scientific journals follow-up committee and editors-in-chief
The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk, met with the Scientific Journals Follow-up Committee and the editors-in-chief of journals in colleges and research centers.
The meeting aims to advance the scientific and research status of journals and strive to have them enter the global framework.
The meeting included a focus on the most important criteria used to enter journals into international databases and raise their level from internal to international, including the necessity of not publishing linguistically weak research and publishing topics in it by local and international researchers. The editorial board should also be chosen according to studied scientific foundations and they have research published in Scopus and evaluated. High quality with specialized staff and modern equipment.
The committee confirmed that the Journal of the College of Medicine and Science has completed all requirements and is ready to enter the Scopus database, with the need to provide full support to the rest of the scientific journals to advance and enter the international rankings.
