Avicenna Center for E-Learning at the University of Basra held a workshop entitled “Ethics of the Teaching Profession” with the participation of teachers and researchers.
The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Zainab Faleh Salem, a lecturer at the College of Education at the University of Basra, included a presentation of the most important principles and ethics of the teaching profession, respect for pluralism and diversity, in addition to citizenship and disciplined behavior, as it is a safety valve for preserving the honor of the profession and the identity of citizenship.
The workshop called for supporting employee discipline in performing practical obligations, as well as emphasizing the establishment of professional ethics, which is reflected in not causing a waste of money and time and activating transparency in compliance with laws.
