The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a seminar on the English Church during the reign of Theodore 1485-1603.
The episode aims to identify the changes witnessed by the English Church during the era of the Theodore family, ecclesiastical diversity in the world and the circumstances that accompanied this diversity.
Dr. Fares Franc Nassouri explained the most important changes that the English Church witnessed during the era of this dynasty, starting from its first king, King Henry VII, to the era of Queen Elizabeth I, and how the aspects of that church changed for personal reasons. Politically and economically, between Catholicism and Protestantism until it settled on a middle formula that combined the two sects to be known from that date until the present time as the Anglican Church.
